This isnt one mans soapbox to dictate anything.
Its a platform for YOU to preserve the meritocracy of emceeing for posterity.
Its for every rap nerd out there to organize their opinions and elevate the debate.
I’ve never seen one list that didn’t get destroyed in the comments section. And rightfully so! Its not easy.
We like to think this is the most methodical, objective, and fun approach thats ever been attempted.
Once we have a large enough community we will unveil YOUR worldwide community ratings as well as BY REGION.
Not just that, were going to assemble a panel of emcees to make up the default ratings when you first get to the site.
But first we have to show you.
Q: How do I be part the default ratings panel?
A: If you are a known rapper who is in the ratings table, just send me your RapRated account name from one of your verified social media accounts, or holding it in a selfie and you will be put on the panel.
If you are not a known rapper but you are a great rapper and you want to join this community and contribute ratings to the panel, send your account name and a link to your work and we will be hand-selecting high-level emcees to be part of the default ratings process.
Q: How is the OVERALL rating being calculated?
A: An average of a rappers top 6 attributes determines their OVR rating as of now.
We figure if a rapper is 99 at 6 different things we should consider them a 99 OVR.
For example, Tupac is widely considered one of the best to ever do it, but he had very little wordplay.
No rapper is 99 at all 16 attributes, but a 99 ovr needs to be attainable at the elite level.
However this calculation is by no means set in stone and will evolve based on feedback and experience.
Q: How do I rate rappers?

Q: Why did the signup ask for my RAP name / DJ name?
A: In the future we may hold rap contests with the chance for you to be added to the main ratings table.
Q: What is in store for the future?
A: The site is in its beta stage right now, soon we would like to add public user profiles so you can see each others stats, an album ratings module, and other features.
